Not being able to buy something will make people very creative. I have recently tried to start finding gifts for others around my own home. Finding things that I don't need anymore and regifting them to others that can use them has been my new challenge for myself. I have had to think outside of the box on what others need so I can simplify my...

I think that ideas around water as a limited resource need to be shared with the masses. Maybe news stories about water sustainability on mainstream news outlets and print media would help.

Reducing dishes by reusing non dirty ones. Not using bottled water.

I don't agree with the quote. I do want to do what I can to creat a resilience eco-system but it comes more from a place of love than obligation. On creating gratitude, individuals make up a society so if we have grateful individuals we have a grateful society. In my experience it takes conscious effort to practice gratitude. Also, if I am less...

Fall is my favorite time of year and I love the sound/feel of leaves crunching under my feet when I walk. I can't get that while driving. I also enjoy the feeling of fresh air on my skin while walking. I am able to slow down more and enjoy the beauty while walking. Also, stopping to smell the roses!

I have now developed a deep awareness about how plastic is "forever" and that it truly affects our planet in an adverse way.  I try to avoid using plastic as much as possible and will just wheel my cart or take my basket to the car and place items loosely there.  Of course I do carry reusable bags....I just have to work harder at...

As I was updating my challenges this morning it struck me that a daily exercise routine can be beneficial to my relationships with others. They provide quiet time to think and to appreciate those relationships!

A few efforts that would help:  supporting local farmers by encouraging individuals and organizations to make the choice to choose good, real food and to keep their dollars local.  gleaning projects to harvest the bounty that would otherwise go to waste. donating to your local food bank..  training and support to encourage growing your own - on...

I think that sugar can be an addiction. I have in the last couple of years tried to reduce sugar and notice a huge difference in my behavior when I eat too much (moody, irritable).
