    Nature Spend Time Outside

indoor culture doesn’t bode well for us, our health, or the environment.  i feel like as i have grown busier and busier, leaving time to go outside falls by the wayside due to the technological and industrialized world we live in, and it terrifies me.

honestly I wasn't sure if writing down things I feel grateful for would have an impact on me but it really did and I feel like I appreciate the people in my life better

I'm excited to start my challenge. I hope after this event, I will be able to incorporate these activities into my daily life. I want to continue to save water, control the waste I produce, and reduce my carbon footprint so I can live on a healthy planet for many more years.

Today I wake up between 5:30 and 6am. I go to bed from 11pm to 12:30pm. Already getting more sleep than the average American, but it's still not enough.

Today,  I take about 20-minute showers at a minimum. I know it can be a lot lower. Reducing my water footprint will kick start my journey to being more environmentally friendly. Next, I will start by reducing the amount of waste I produce. I will continue to use my reusable water bottles, no straws and print everything I can also continue to reduce my water footprint by eating fewer meat products or washing my clothes only when necessary.
