    Food Try a New Way to Prep
    Canning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?

    Made drop biscuits with the kid the other day, they were edible but we have a big hill to climb to get them better!

    What have you noticed about your purchases? Where are you inclined to make shifts, if any?

    Trying to be deliberate about following the list and not making impulse purchases, or using online options so I'm not in the store to grab random things!

    Nature Spend Time Outside
    Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

    We are part of nature and should connect with nature as much as we can. Walking, sitting under a tree, or just observing beautiful sky while driving home is quite relaxing. I try to spend as much time outdoors with my kids, so that all of us enjoy contact with nature and bonding with each other. I cannot imagine life indoors all the time.

    Simplicity De-Clutter My Home
    How can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?

    I ask myself before buying something if I really need it, or I will consider throwing it away in a few month because it is just creating clutter in the house and I really don't need it.
