    We pay the local Gas company $5.50 a month for research to find ways to make gas renewable. Like cow poop and famers  dealing with methane gas

    One hour massage this morning = Happiness, so that I am ready to start my day.  One needs to take care of oneself in order to be a good caretaker of our world.

    This has been great fun.  I do think the three week time-frame has made it a sustainable practice.  Thanks for engaging people, asking me to be on the team.....I think it will make a personal difference for me and for many others.

    I am very happy with many things I have done during this EcoChallenge but de-cluttering my home is absolutely the best.  So many things have found a new home and it has given me a feeling of ease just making it easier to find things.  What I have left has a purpose and I can find it!.

    Did you know you can recycle old carpet through Habitat for Humanity? Much better option than the dump.

    The biggest take away for me from last Wednesday's presentation from Waste Management:  Our recycling facilities sort by 2 dimensions and 3 dimensions, which changes a little regarding how I should be throwing recyclable items in my comingled bin!

    I spent the weekend in Newport, Oregon, with a bunch of college sorority women.  One of our causes is Inherit the Earth.  It was heartening to hear 100 college women talk about the beauty of our natural world, and how lucky we are to have places like Agate Beach.  I am optimistic about this next generation!
