Rayn Raposa 10/24/2019 6:06 AMThis challenge was amazing. I learned to be grateful, mindful, and peaceful. I have become more calm watching the sunrise in the morning. I learned to be more resourceful, and found myself doing it unconsciously. This was so fun, and I hope i get to do it again -

REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersFive minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?
Rayn Raposa 10/02/2019 1:50 PMA next step that I could take is, hand-washing dishes in the sink, instead of using all the water from the dishwasher.-
Nia Rodrigues 10/17/2019 7:13 PMThat is a great idea that I might start to use at my house. Great way to conserve water!

REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity Eat MindfullyMindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?
Rayn Raposa 10/02/2019 1:46 PMI often eat dinner with my phone on, watching Netflix. It is a way for me to entertain myself. But, I realize that during dinner is the best time to communicate with family, talk about your day, and really bond. It is the ending to your day, and you want it to be perfect. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Enjoy the Sunrise/SunsetFather Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.
Rayn Raposa 10/02/2019 1:44 PMWatching the sunrise/set is such a beautiful sight. When you wake up early in the morning, eating breakfast by the window, feeling the sun hit your face, is so amazing. You get to really feel warm and good inside, and it allows you to see something to be grateful for each day. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Rayn Raposa 10/02/2019 1:41 PMI can incorporate my friends into my routine by exercising with them. I can also exercise outside. Exercising is a great way to stay healthy, not just to get fit. It is really good for you, and when you're motivated, it can be really fun!
