Folks need to stop caring about their lawns unless they really spend a lot of time out there. I'd love to see more homeowners and neighborhoods shift to local plants and trees with the type of growth that doesn't require so much water, fertilizers, and maintenance. Better for the environment and better for quality of life wrt less time wasted maintaining areas.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Say No to Plastic Straws
What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

I actually can't think of any single-use items I use regularly...it becomes a regular mindset pretty quickly.

I forget to check in every day but there are some good ideas here to further reduce my personal impact.
