  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

It has been proven that spending more time outside can boost your mood and improve your overall health an I think this would definetly apply who spend most of their time outdoors.

Instead of using a plastic Kroger bag, I used a paper one.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Maybe using a water filter or something like that so tap water doesnt taste so gross and tap watery will make people more open to drinking it
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

Maybe because meat costs more that richer countries consume more of it.

Some people may not have access to a reusable water bottle whether that is because of price or availability. Making reusable water bottles more accessible for everyone could help reduce single use plastics.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Choose Organic Ingredients
It is often said that “you can’t feed the world with just organic food.” What is your response to that statement?

Practicing gratitude is important because it helps me to stay more positive and look on the bright side of things. No matter what you're going through, there will always be something to be thankful for and practicing gratitude helps you to do that. It's also important because I want others around me to feel the same way too.

Practicing gratitude keeps me centered and motivated to work for a better world because it makes me stop and think about how lucky I am right now, and how I want to try and make others feel the same way.
