  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water 5-Minute Showers
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

The next step you can take is reducing showering with hot water, lukewarm water is better for your skin and hair anyway. Another next step could be to focus on reducing my energy consumption (e.g. switching off the light if not needed, turning of my laptop during the night, etc.)
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Exercise Daily

Looking for a team activity, combining an outdoor activity together with meeting friends (e.g. hiking with friends) or change up your gym routine with doing sports outside once a week.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Spend Time Outside
Rachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?

Yes that sounds right to me. - I think a culture who spends most of the time indoors, is less happy, balanced and satisfied. Nature not only calms people's mind but also gives the brain fresh air and connects the human to the environment which comes along with a positive mood.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

I should really think more about what I buy. Not just what kind of product, but mostly the amount. It is crazy if I calculate what I throw away every year. This is so not necessary and such a waste. It's also really expensive if you about it.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Learn About & Practice Sustainable Fashion
How can you express your personality, creativity, and values in ways that don't require fast fashion or buying more clothes and accessories?

I chose to limit the amount of clothes I have and don't really follow every fashion trend. Luckily, the things I like are all items that are sort of timeless.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Go Paperless
Reducing your paper mail can be such a freeing action to take -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?

I will get a "nee-nee" sticker from city hall. I can easily avoid getting a lot of flyers, etc.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Watch a Documentary about Food Sovereignty
How does food sovereignty address the complex agrarian transition to modern food systems?

Food Sovereignty asserts that the people who produce, distribute, and consume food should control the mechanisms and policies of food production and distribution, rather than the corporations and market institutions they believe have come to dominate the global food system.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

By talking about the extremely low costs of my supplier. Especially if you are "ZZP-er" then you can jump into an energy collective.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

Changing lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?

Choose the right energy supplier! If you get your power from Vattenfall (NL) then you will get a free LED lightbulb.
