Health
Happiness
I will write down three things every day that I am grateful for, or send one email every day thanking or praising someone.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Explore My AreaHow can spending more time outdoors enhance your sense of place?
Brandi Sutfin 10/07/2019 8:14 AMMy husband and I hiked 9 miles in Northern MI this past weekend, seeing all the folks out and about and exploring drove home how important it is to educate and preserve the natural wonders around us for future generations to enjoy. Visiting visitor centers really demonstrated the importance to preserve after looking at the active animal logs and seeing how many animals (carrier pigeon, wolverine) just Northern MI has lost due to deforestation and pollution.
