Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 6 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

    How could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?

    Doing this challenge is easy because I can just use my metal straw (that I already have at home) or I can just not use a straw and drink right from the glass. This isn't hard also because I only like using my metal straw (if im going to use a straw) so it's not that hard.

    Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

    This challenge is super hard because my grandmother makes me a turkey sandwich every day for lunch and she makes a meal with meat every day for dinner. Also, this is hard because I forget that I'm doing this challenge until after I eat the meal.

      You got this Deja! A tip I have for you is maybe if you tell your grandmother your taking this challenge maybe she will realize not to give you a turkey sandwich everyday. You can also help your grandmother make your lunch the first few weeks until she/you get into the habit of being meatless so that you can work together to make sure u accomplish your goal.

      You got this Deja I believe in you! It's hard at first but get yourself in the habit of bringing meatless meals, I can help remind you like an accountability partner to make sure you are on the right track!

      It's also been hard for me and I also forget, but I suggest making your own meals if you have time. That's what I did during the first week.
