It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. My average commute time is 1 hour each way. Having the flexibility to work from home 2 days a week saves me 4 hours in commuting time while also providing me with greater work/life balance during the week!
