It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. Are you in an industry that would allow you to work from home? What are some obstacles you might find yourself facing while working from home?

My role is 100% work from home and prevents me from having to drive and contribute to CO2 emissions.
My obstacles are barking dogs when UPS rings the door bell, but better that than hearing coffee chatter all day.

How do you anticipate replacing your thermostats for programmable ones will positively impact your life?

I installed Nest Thermostats to eliminate wasteful use of heating and colling when I am not at home. Heating and Colling use up most of the energy I consume and this was the biggest way for me to make a difference in being thoughtful to our environment.

Having the virtual maturity review will prevent 5 folks from travelling into the CT office supporting our company's goal of reducing CO2 emissions by 2% for the year 2019.
