I will save up to .21 lbs (.09 kg) of paper each day by switching from one-sided printing to two-sided.

Water
Mulch the Base of Trees and Plants
I will prevent water runoff and increase absorbency by mulching the base of plants and trees at my home or work.
Water
Collect Rain Water
I will create a rain garden or bioswale or use rain barrels to collect water for outdoor watering needs.
Water
Eco-friendly Gardening
I will plant native species, landscape with water-efficient plants, and use eco-friendly fertilizers.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Mulch the Base of Trees and PlantsWhere are your nearest natural bodies of water? How might they be affected by runoff?
Shubhangi Musale 10/22/2019 11:23 PMStream & lake is near to my house. Due to new proposed developments, impervious areas have increased so does runoff. that is increasing flow going in the streams which are now going beyond their capacity. this is causing flooding. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Eco-friendly GardeningWhat are the most prominent water concerns in your area? Examples include drought, flooding, pollution, access, security, and privatization.
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?
Shubhangi Musale 10/22/2019 11:06 PMIt feels good that we are not creating waste out of it. Reusable cups are daily use utensils, we can't replace it with any other. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Upgrade My WindowsHow does improving your home's energy efficiency help you better live out your values?
Shubhangi Musale 10/22/2019 11:01 PMWe don't use electricity for light in a day. For temperature Maintainance also windows play a super role. We don't need to fan for that. We have wide & large windows in the home which help us with good ventilation & light. This is saving on electricity & energy.
