  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
Father Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.

As our days are getting shorter, I'd like to thank this challenge for giving me an excuse to come into work later and later in the morning ;)
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

I geared up this morning to bring my own travel mug into work, so that I can forgo a paper cup when I head out for a special coffee.
It wasn't until we had an interior's rep presentation that I realized they bring us coffee in PAPER CUPS.  Shoot.
I can't check this off for today, but I will be notifying our reps to not bring me coffee this month!

Bummer! Do they bring regular coffee? Maybe you could request they start bringing in a single carafe to cut down on waste?
