Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

Some places do not have clean water or metal tasting water which is sometimes hard to drink. I am fortunate enough to live somewhere hat provides water fountains and I own a water purifier. I always use a reusable water bottle.

    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

I have a favorite mug for my coffee. Sometimes I forget to wash it and I rush out and have to use a plastic one. I should wash it every night so I do not forget. Using a reusable cup is a small but important action to reduce my waste.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
High Impact Action Track Reduce Single-Use Disposables
Bringing your own bags and containers to the grocery store, and even to restaurants for leftovers, are a couple of ways to reduce your waste. What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

What makes you feel connected to your neighborhood, your neighbors, or another kind of community in your life?

I don't think there is a specific thing that makes a community a community. They just have to share one common thing for example sports, religion, race, etc. I feel like the people around me are people who want to make the world better. My friends aspire to be lawyers , doctors, politicians and more, just to make the world better!

I was searching about climate change in Atlanta. And I found that people in low income communities are affected by the dangers of climate change. For example communities who and afford expensive water bills have lead in their water. Or their children are affected by asthma due to pollution. They have to purchase cheap food which have pesticides and GMOs. They really are affected!

Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

I think meat is a sign of status. Like a filet mingion or Lobster or veal. They have the money to purchase these expensive luxury foods.
