REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Reduce refined sugarBefore you started this challenge, did you think you were 'addicted' to sugar? How do you feel now?
Alex Tricoli-Walkanoff 10/27/2019 1:55 PMI didn't think I was very addicted to sugar but after trying this I realize how hard it actually is. It is very hard to stay away from sugar -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Eliminate Toxic PlasticsWhat single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?
Alex Tricoli-Walkanoff 10/27/2019 1:54 PMPlastic bags I regularly use for grocery shopping. I could start buying reusable bags to use at the grocery store rather than plastic bags -

REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Whole Foods DietMichael Pollan states that “it is better to pay the grocer (our edit: or the farmer!) than the doctor.” What are your thoughts on this idea?
Alex Tricoli-Walkanoff 10/27/2019 1:52 PMTo me it seems like they mean eating healthy keeps you away from the doctor so eat food you know is healthy so you do not have to go to the doctor -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Alex Tricoli-Walkanoff 10/27/2019 1:51 PMBecause meat is expensive so richer people tend to buy it. Poorer people eat things that are cheaper like fruits and vegetables. Eating meat affects people and our environment in a negative way
