  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

I learned Salvation Army only has like 3 places to donate. Goodwill has lots of places.  There's a place in Newberg that accepts stuff the garbage man won't take.  I googled it for directions and put stuff in my car to take there on the weekend

Sometimes we have to rethink our "needs" to find a different, more ecologically sound answer rather than immediately jumping in to purchase the same sort of something we have purchased in the past.  An example would be having real washable silverware in our car and at work to use instead of plastic.
