Farmers are affected by what their neighbors choose to do with their land. Large scale production companies are seeking land in our area and they don't care about making sustainable choices, they care about production and profits.

It is very refreshing to get out in nature.  It is a perfect time to reflect about yourself and the world in general.

    Food Smart Seafood Choices
Many states and countries have advisories on eating fish. Find out what is advised for your region. Do you think your diet choices fall within these guidelines? What steps do you need to take to make sure that they do?

I do not eat much in the way of seafood, so I think I would fall within these guidelines.  I do appreciate that some packaging denotes sustainably caught sea food.  That will help me to make better choices in the future about which sea foods to buy.

Being more conscious of the brands you choose to buy is a way to express yourself through your wardrobe.

I enjoyed the learning activity about sustainable fashion.  It makes me want to seek out bamboo clothing! Sounds like fun.
