Denise's actions
Simplicity
Track my Purchases
I will spend 5 minutes each day maintaining a record of all my purchases and learning about my spending habits.
Simplicity
De-Clutter My Home
I will de-clutter, clean, and donate or recycle unneeded items in my home.
Waste
Find Local Recycling Depots
I will spend at least 10 minutes finding out where to recycle the recyclable items that I can't put in my curbside bin.
Waste
Skip the Straw
Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.
Waste
Use a Reusable Mug
I will avoid sending 1 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.
Health
More Fruits and Veggies
I will eat a heart healthy diet by adding 1 cup(s) of fruits and vegetables each day to achieve at least 4 cups per day.

Denise Reilly 10/22/2019 9:34 AMI cleaned out my garden over the weekend and had seven large brown bags for yard waste recycling. -
Denise Reilly 10/21/2019 4:54 AMI'm now starting to look at disposable cups and straws completely differently now and trying to use re-usable ones when I can. -
Denise Reilly 10/04/2019 5:41 AMso far this challenge has helped me be more mindful by using re-usable straws and cups. I've also been keeping track of where my money is being spent and asking myself if it is a want vs. a need! This weekend I hope to work on decluttering at least one area of my home and finding things to donate / re-home.
