    my mom owns a lighting store so i had her bring me home energy efficient bulbs and i replaced all mine with better ones.

    i use a washable glass or my stainless steel water bottle for all my drinks

    we get stuff from the local food CSA all the time, we arent part of it but they have a little stand and the best stuff;  the Clinton & Hamilton farmers markets are amazing and i try to go as many times as i can thruout the summer

    we had a big herb garden this summer;  I am working on finding space to keep growing a few of our favorites inside during the cold months

    we foodsaver sweet corn and make pickled cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes;  we are going to try canning a few things with our friend dan soon too
