I started investing with my brother months ago. Recently we were having a discussion about how his firm invests and we discussed the companies that have positive environmental impacts. Unfortunately the performance of the few we discussed we not great but hopefully in the near future, responsible and sustainable companies will become more profitable.

Over the past year I have seen "Unhealthy Air Quality" coming up on my weather app. This helped me understand why and look into the pollutants in the air.

After having a minor but impactful foot surgery, I have fallen out of my routine and frequency of exercise. I am getting more mobility back and using this challenge as an opportunity to motivate me to get moving more- whether it be using one or two feet..

We have all crossed paths with a company that tries to give back by planting a tree at some point. Not long ago I discover Ecosia, a search engine that claims to plant a tree whenever a search is done. Needless to say, this has replaces Google as my go-to search engine.

Cutting plastic out of daily life is difficult. There are many items I do not have an alternative to (yet) but one swap I made that I am pleased about it floss. I never thought much about purchasing a refillable container but now that I have, I wish I would have sooner. There are a variety of small metal and glass container styles. I purchased a couple types but settled on this being my favorite combo. The container is sleek and I like this floss as much or more than mainstream brands that come in plastic.  Not all floss and container alternatives are "reasonably" priced but there are a few out there that do provide value in additional to the reduced environmental impact.
