Skip the Straw

Plastic bags and small plastic pieces like straws are most likely to get swept into our waterways. I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) out of the landfill and ocean each day by refusing straws or using my own glass/metal straw.

We were able to participate in a neighborhood yard sale this past weekend. Many of our household items will now be reused rather than potentially making it to a landfill. I was able to sell some other large items through the Nextdoor site that we didn't sell at the yard sale. The rest will be donated. It was a win-win.

I planted three Crepe Laurels this week. It will add to the curb appeal of my home and attract more pollinators when in bloom. That helps with my mental and spiritual health.

I joined the challenge to test how effective this site will be in getting our S Corps and other employees engaged in sustainability efforts. I'm hoping it's a great success!!
