Recycle Everything I Can

Such a nice day today! Going to a haunted house tonight. Is that eco friendly?? Haha
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Forage for My Food
People are motivated to forage for many different reasons: as a source for food, a means of income, to connect with nature, to participate in cultural tradition, transmitting specific ecological knowledge, or as a means of stewarding local and native plant populations. What is your chief motivation for foraging?

I think it's really cool to know what foods we can and cannot eat that are around us. In case of a natural disaster (or a zombie apocalypse!) it's a good resource to have.

How might impact investing help you better live your values?

I really like the idea of impact investing but I don't think it is something that I am ready to do myself. Money drives a lot of things so it's nice to know that it is helping make a difference in our world and environment.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Choose LED Bulbs
Changing lightbulbs is an excellent first step toward energy efficiency! In what other ways can you exercise your civic duty to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions?

It seems a bit more expensive to upgrade to LED bulbs but from what I can tell it will save money in the long run. Another thing I do to protect the environment and reduce carbon emissions is ride the bus to work.
