    Anyone following the investment/banking angle may want to consider changing their accounts from HSBC/Barclays/RBS as they are all active in fossil fuel investment. If your money is with them it is helping finance climate change.....

    Bringing your own bags and containers to the grocery store, and even to restaurants for leftovers, are a couple of ways to reduce your waste. What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    This is a difficult set of objectives as I only buy seafood in restaurants. More often than not the staff don't know where the fish is sourced!
