I learned that we could help our planet even more if we continued to do these simple habits like eating meatless or vegan meals and also using a reusable water bottle.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

I think just the extra work of cleaning and filling reusable bottles was what makes people prefer bottled water.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Eat Mindfully
Mindful eating is healthier for us than eating with distractions. How do your eating experiences differ when practicing mindfulness?

When ever I eat while watching TV I notice that I eat more then I would when I don't watch TV.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Nature Tend a Garden

I realized that I do not have a green thumb. I tried to tend my mom's garden but unfortunately I ended up over watering one of her plants.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Health Healthy Sleep
Consider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?

Shifting my sleep patterns to finally get at least 8 hours of sleep helps me a lot. I feel a lot more positive and with more energy then i usually would.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Food Reduce Animal Products
Why do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?

I think meat would be more accessible in richer countries than in other places. Eating more meat affects our planet because the more animals are produced, wrapped in plastic, and the more they release gases the more it heats our planet.
