REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Skip the StrawHow could you incorporate other "R's" -- reduce, reuse, refuse, repair, repurpose, etc. -- into your lifestyle?
Lindsay Biedel 10/16/2019 9:40 AMI purchased a little pack of reusable utensils, straws and chop sticks that I keep in my purse so I never have a need for plastic utensils or straws. I also keep a set in our car. Whenever possible, I buy my kids' clothes used and my own as well. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONSimplicity De-Clutter My HomeHow can you prevent yourself from accumulating more things in the future?
Lindsay Biedel 10/16/2019 9:39 AMThinking about needs vs. wants and adopting a one in, one out policy in our household. Having extra, unnecessary stuff doesn't ever make you feel better! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Lindsay Biedel 10/16/2019 9:38 AMWhenever I can, I exercise in nature and incorporate time with friends. Being active with friends is always my favorite way to connect! -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Buy From a Farmers MarketWhat is one food choice that you make, or could make, that would do more good and less harm?
Lindsay Biedel 10/16/2019 9:36 AMBuying as much local food as possible so our families' food isn't being shipped across the country unnecessarily. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Reduce Animal ProductsWhy do people in richer countries eat more meat than people in other places? How does eating more meat affect our planet and other people?
Lindsay Biedel 10/16/2019 9:35 AMAgriculture has a very negative impact on the environment, which I don't think most people are aware of. I truly believe that if people understood the impact from a health perspective and environmental perspective, they would stop and think about their meat consumption and ways to cut back. Not to mention they'd save money!
