REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth HappinessHow does/can practicing gratitude keep you centered and motivated to work for a better world?
Janet Beach Davis 10/17/2019 5:51 PMUnderstanding and recognizing the things others do everyday encourages me to have a more positive outlook. Life sometimes emphasizes the negative, and this reminds me of all the amazing things going on around me, and reminds me to be mindful and grateful to others. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Plant TreesHow is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?
Janet Beach Davis 10/12/2019 11:44 AMGetting trees in the ground shows that you have hope for the future. Planting with students makes me happy knowing that the next generation does care about restoration and stewardship. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Watch a Documentary about Food SovereigntyHow does food sovereignty address the complex agrarian transition to modern food systems?
Janet Beach Davis 10/08/2019 9:19 PMBy allowing people access to the materials to grow their own food, and the skills they need, entire communities are strengthened, both economically and socially. When societies are confident in their food sources, they are less likely to experience fear, and eventually wage war to get the resources they need. Modern food systems isolate people from their food, instead of encouraging support of local businesses. -
