    Last night I made a presentation to our county legislature, urging them to amend a law requiring restaurants to ask first before handing out plastic straws.  The law was extended to other single use plastics and passed!

    Last night I made a presentation to our Ulster County legislature regarding an extension of the law requiring restaurants to ask first before handing out plastic straws. The resolution was passed and is now going into effect!
