I've found that thrift shopping or second had stores have amazing stuff! I shop second hand before buying something new.

Yes i felt like i was addicted to sugar, and I say that because the first few days of cutting back I would have cravings for it. I feel better not, although I haven't completely cut sugar out... it is hot coco season after all. :)

This has been a real struggle so far, and I tend to keep a lot of plastic containers rather than throw them away.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Find Local Recycling Depots
Our ability to recycle certain things ebbs and flows based upon many factors. Luckily there are places that accept uncommon things to recycle or dispose of in a less harmful way. What did you find when looking for places to recycle items that can't be recycled in your curbside bin?

I found that there were a couple of places in our neighbor hood that we could go to. We will have to start another recycling area in our house for those items and take trips as needed. I'm glad we are able to dispose of some of these items at our office too. Like batteries, its so nice having a convenient place to recycle them.

Today I'm decluttering by gathering books to donate to a local school. Happy to pass these on and reduce the need to buy new books.
