I just came back from a weekend away and this has always been an area of challenge for me when I am trying to work on reducing waste, etc. It is so easy to just grab a quick coffee in airports and other plastic-wrapped food items, but when you plan around this I have realized it is pretty doable! Happy Wednesday everyone! A local group in my community, Comox Valley Nurses for Health and the Environment, just shared this great post on Facebook and I wanted to share it with you all as well :) The article is titled "101 Ways to Fight Climate Change: Even the smallest contributions can counter a global challenge. It is a MAJOR goal of mine to get more sleep!! I go through waves of getting the right amount and then really really not. Of course much of this depends on my amount of schoolwork (I am a HUGE procrastinator so I have had my fair share of all-nighters). I have found that meditation apps work really well for me though - I just need more...

Just need a phone call, a knock on the door, and a smile.  And a nice healthy snack or drink afterwards.

eating well and healthily is a wonderful way to start to improve your health.  To be able to access local/farm food feels great and tastes great and is good for both the environment and your body. Do what you can, you feel much better for it.
