    My next step could be try to avoid leaving the sink running when it doesn’t have to run.

    In my area, you can’t recycle things that are being held in plastic bags, obviously. I’ve learned that you also have to clean your stuff that you want to recycle. For example, I would like to recycle and glass jar that had jam in it. I would have to clean it with water before tossing it into the bin. The most difficult part of recycling for me...

    Practicing gratitude helps you being a better person overall. It helps us motivate to keep the world healthy and  helps us appreciate the things we have. Gratitude helps us as people create a positive environment as well.

    It can be expensive to buy a good reusable water and it may be hard to find clean water to fill it up with. We can overcome these barriers by filling up water whenever we can find a good source and putting a little money aside each day to pay for a quality water bottle.

    Whenever you notice someone printing something out always remind them to double sided if possible. You can also help them change their computer settings so that it automatically prints two sided unless you tell it to do otherwise.

    You can go out running with friends outside or in the woods to have more interesting scenery and enjoy our planets natural beauty.

    It is sometimes hard to make using reusable mugs a habit because it is easy to forget to bring them with you when going out for coffee. I will make it a habit to bring a thermos with me whenever I know I'm going out to get coffee in the future!

    Things like turnip tops, broccoli stems, and cauliflower leaves aren't things that we normally use in meals, but they can be incorporated into our meals by using them as toppings and garnishes. They can also be used to make vegetable-based broth!

    The only barrier to using a reusable water bottle would be that I sometimes forget to bring one with me when I'm going out of the house. However, I do bring one every day to school. I will try to always make it a permanent habit to bring one wherever I go.

    These numbers do not surprise me. I know that our government spends a significant amount on defense, in my opinion, much more than they should. Much more of the budget should be spent on protecting the environment and public transportation infrastructure is a part of that to reduce our CO2 output.
