Bethany Velarde
"I am participating in the EcoChallenge not only because I am an Environmental Resident at ASC, but because participating actively in sustainable actions is necessary for our collective future. I want to incorporate the new practices I learn in the EcoChallenge into my daily life so that they become habits and my impact increases. I hope to learn more about sustainability, especially to fill in the gaps of my knowledge and to improve on what I already know. There's always more to do and to learn! "

Bethany Velarde 10/02/2019 8:20 AMToday, I'm starting my EcoChallenge with mindful meditation and considering how I can contribute to the challenge today. I used a resuable cup for my morning coffee, and I plan to walk instead of driving this afternoon to reduce the emissions I produce. It's also a beautiful day to get outside!
