REFLECTION QUESTIONFood Zero-Waste CookingIn North America, up to 65% of food waste happens at the consumer level. Chef Steven Satterfield advocates for utilizing every part of a vegetable. How can you incorporate using an entire vegetable, including the skins, tops, and stalks during your next meal prep?
davy V 10/07/2019 12:32 PMWhen I prepare vegetable from the garden I only prep the good parts, the rest gets composted back into the garten. When I buy carrots I only eat up to about an inch before the top as there is some chemical that is on that end I don't compost those ends rather hit them with a tennis racket into the brush. I don't want that chemical in my personal garten in my system or anywhere in my life. -
