    I have pledged to live simply.  My kids are growing and moving out on their own.  This is a great opportunity for me to purge!   Out with the old AND I am helping my kids furnish and decorate their new places... win/win for the #partyof7!

    Bringing your own bags and containers to the grocery store, and even to restaurants for leftovers, are a couple of ways to reduce your waste. What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    Straws in my drink.  I have purchased a stainless steel mug with a straw for reusing
