  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Simplicity Limit Social Media
Social media can keep us connected with loved ones, make us laugh, and help us to learn new things. It can also take more time than we realize or intend to give. After doing this action for a few days, how do you feel? What do you notice?

For me it seems the best plan is to set a definitive "stop" time and plan to log out at that time regardless of any action I may have taken otherwise - it can wait!
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Energy Adjust the Thermostat
Your utility company is able to tell you your average energy usage. Ask them how your energy usage compares to others in your ZIP code, region, and/or state. What other steps can you take each day to reduce your electricity usage?

Fall is a great time of the year to open up the windows and take advantage of natural ventilation.  Just make sure that the relative humidity (RH) outdoors is lower than indoor RH first.  Otherwise your AC system may use more energy lowering the RH indoors if you have to rely on it again this season.
