REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Franz Schuttenhelm 10/04/2019 2:12 PMI need to take more walks on the local nature trails. This can be tricky when I get so comfortable walking around my neighborhood or on the treadmill. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth More Fruits and VeggiesHow does eating more fruits and vegetables and less meat positively affect yourself, other people, and our planet?

Franz Schuttenhelm 10/03/2019 7:43 AMI joined the challenge to help support my employer's ecochallenge goals. I also joined to help better educate myself concerning eco related actions. I've been choosing actions that are both realistic and challenging. It's important to always just seek improvement in all things. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use Reusable BagsWhat do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?
Franz Schuttenhelm 10/03/2019 7:41 AMMy wife and I will carry items if we haven't brought our own reusable bag. However, we do reuse plastic grocery bags for my mom's kitchen garbage. We will also take the plastic bags we accumulate to a recycling drop off area. Overall, plastic bags have been helpful at times other than their original store purpose, but it's wise to move away from that thought process and try to only use reusable bags. -
