This was great fun - let’s make sure we continue with our daily actions also without this event

You need to ensure a tree is growing for 80 years to compensate 1 Ton of CO2.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION

How is planting trees good for your mental, physical, and spiritual health?

I like planting trees - being in fresh air, imaging how they will grow and offer a sorts of services (CO2 absorption, water management, shadow, good air and recreation).
After planting 200 trees in spring I need to fill the remaining space with more trees, hoping they will grow strongly.

Interesting to calculate your own CO2 footprint https://uba.co2-rechner.de and look what contributes most. That one is from the German EPA - you will have others in your country or use www.carbonfootprint.com
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water
Trace the water that flows down the drain from your house to the largest body of water nearby. What is the route it takes?

Downhill. This year I added two water barrels to capture rain collected from the roof . One barrel looks like a tree trunk.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste
What do you do if you find yourself in the situation of needing a bag for items but don't have a reusable one with you? Carry things out in your hands? In a cart? Accept a disposable one? If you find yourself in this position often, what system could you put in place to try to create a successful habit of not using plastic bags?

If I have no reusable bag with me I either avoid shopping or just buy what I can carry by hand or I create a bag/box with residue boxes in the shop

Impact investment helps you to translates your positive social and environmental intentions into actions
  • REFLECTION QUESTION

In what ways can you increase the positive impacts and decrease the negative impacts of your financial investments?

By investing more in shares of renewable electricity companies and reducing those of fossil energy companies you can support the right shift.
Looking at my shares the biggest gain comes from a windpower Service provider 😊
