Emily's actions
Create Your Own Action
Eat less meat
2 of my 3 daily meals will be meatless (But trying for all 3!)
Transportation
Go by Bike
I will commute by bike 6 mile(s) each day and avoid sending up to 6.16 lbs of CO2 into Earth's atmosphere.
Water
Conserve Toilet Water
I will save up to 12 gallons (45 L) of water a day by flushing only when necessary.

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Healthy SleepConsider how many hours of sleep you get now. How would you like to shift your sleep patterns? What are you finding works for you to be successful in this action?
Emily Radomski 10/21/2019 2:28 PMMy goal is to turn off all screens by 10pm, and be asleep by 10:30pm. I've started to set an alarm on my phone for 10pm to remind me, otherwise I don't notice the time go by. I've also recruited my partner to encourage me and hold me accountable to my goal. This is even more helpful than the alarm since I tend to 'cheat' these kinds of things when left to my own devices. -
Emily Radomski 10/18/2019 10:42 AMRE: Conserving toilet water: For obvious reasons I flush at work every time, but at home my partner and I have adopted the "if it's yellow, let it mellow" strategy. It might seem a little gross, but we have an old toilet at our apartment that has a MASSIVE tank, so I'm glad he was on board to flush less together. -
Emily Radomski 10/16/2019 2:05 PMWe've been lucky with good weather this month, but today I biked to work despite the rain! It's supposed to rain all week so I'm gonna try to keep it up. Glad I got fenders put on a couple weeks ago :)-

Emily Radomski 10/15/2019 11:45 AMI didn't think eating less meat would be so hard, but this challenge made me realize how often I rely on it as a lunch and/or dinner option. But being conscious of my meal decisions every day is helping :)
