An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 4 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

    Saying no to plastic straws is easy because you don't have to use straws and you could just use metal straws.

    This was an easy challenge because you don't use plastic straws its that easy and sometimes you don't need a straw.

    Waste Use a Reusable Water Bottle
    While water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?

    When using plastic water bottles they sometimes end up in the ocean. When using other water bottles you resue them over and over

    What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

    I use to use plastic straws then I went on Amazon and bought 4 metal straws for cheap. Don't use plastic use metal.

    When you are not in your room and your light is on just turned it of to save energy. When a light is on in your house and no one is in that room turn it off, to save your EARTH
