Reduce Single-Use Disposables

Historically, marginalized and low-income communities live closer to landfills, contributing to a multitude of health problems. I will find out how I can limit single-use items and do my best to limit the waste I generate.

I joined EcoChallenge Feed as I believe that the existence of this world depends on how well we treat it. We are really careless in treating our environment or not bothered at all.

There are so many things which we can do to keep our actions eco-friendly....

I join this movement for me, my family and the generations to come....

    Waste
Bringing your own bags and containers to the grocery store, and even to restaurants for leftovers, are a couple of ways to reduce your waste. What single-use items (e.g. straws, coffee cups, vegetable bags, plastic bags) do you regularly use? What could be substituted instead?

Coffee cups - Started having from places where they provide steel or glass cups

Plastic bags - Using Jute bag.

    Straws - Usually avoid straws.

    Transportation
The US spends roughly 20% of its federal budget on defense. In contrast, 2% goes to education, 20% goes to social security and 3% goes to transportation infrastructure. Do these numbers surprise you at all? Why or why not? How would you adjust them if you could?

It's a known fact these days that majority of the countries spend majority of their budget on defense though which is a sad case.

If I could; would have increased the budget on education, social security, improving transportation infrastructure and integration. How would it be done would be by changing the mindset of living together rather than living to win/dominate.
