REFLECTION QUESTIONTransportation Walk InsteadHalf of all trips made in the US are three miles or less; 72% of them are driven. Do you feel that this fact applies to you? If so, how might you incorporate more muscle-powered transportation in your daily life?
Jay Olinger 10/09/2019 12:12 PMWith Portland's traffic and lack of parking, I prefer to walk to save time, money, and Mother Earth! In general, if my destination is under 2-miles, I'll plan accordingly to walk. Although I could benefit from better walking shoes and rain-proof gear for the Portland weather, I enjoy multi-tasking--exercise, and getting where I need to go! -
Jay Olinger 10/09/2019 12:08 PMThe beautiful fall weather was great inspiration to walk to campus, take the FREE inter-campus shuttle, and fill up my reusable coffee mug at the Sylvania cafeteria. -
Jay Olinger 10/07/2019 5:25 AMIt's the start to a new week! My goal today is to encourage students to take the FREE PCC Shuttle(https://www.pcc.edu/transportation/alternatives/shuttles/).
