    "నేను సైతం విశ్వవృష్టికి అశ్రువొక్కటి ధారపోశాను
    నేను సైతం భువనఘోషకు వెర్రిగొంతుకవిచ్చి మ్రోశాను"

The above lines are from a famous Telugu poet (Sri Sri).
    That means as below:

Even I shed a teardrop for the world’s rain.
Even I lent my voice to bear the noise of the world’

I feel that I could also do something for the benefit of my world through my tiny actions.
These actions may not be big enough to claim. But as said by others "A Little Drops of water makes Ocean", I believe, if all could contribute to their level best, we can change our world & our lives. Of course, we can gift a beautiful life to our Children.

Walking(bit carefully), while drizzling is a good experience.
In fact, it is a new experience for me today. I enjoyed the chill climate in the early morning.

  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Waste Use a Reusable Mug
Maybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch. What stands in your way of making this a habit? By identifying the challenges, you can begin to work through them to have better success in taking this action. Knowing the difference you are making, how does it make you feel?

Switched to reusable cups/glasses instead of going towards paper cups.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Water Install a Toilet Tank Bank
Name some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?

We insisted to utilize the Wastewater from RO for cleaning the premises in our Community.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Water Install a Low-Flow Showerhead
How can your region/household prepare for changing water situations in order to become more resilient?

    Prakash Murthy's avatar
    Prakash Murthy 10/21/2019 4:14 AM
I could teach the need for water & my son reduced wastage of water(unnecessarily). I am happy about that.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Try a New Way to Prep
Canning and pickling food is a great way to have delicious summer fruits and vegetables all year round. Just make sure to follow the canning and pickling guidelines from the USDA. What are some foods that you would like to preserve and enjoy later in the year?

    Prakash Murthy 10/21/2019 4:13 AM
These days, we started eating the vegetable Salads as our snacks to office(for me)/school(for my son).
Decided to follow this twice a week.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
    Transportation Work from Home
It takes the average worker in the United States 26 minutes to travel to work. One way to fix long commutes would be to make cities more affordable. An even simpler option: promote the use of telework. Are you in an industry that would allow you to work from home? What are some obstacles you might find yourself facing while working from home?

    Prakash Murthy's avatar
    Prakash Murthy 10/21/2019 4:04 AM
Coming to the office daily would take 2+ hours in Bangalore. On top of that, we get tired of the moment when we enter the office.
WFH is a better option whenever there are no person-person meetings.
Productivity would be more & we would be contributing to our nature as well.
  • REFLECTION QUESTION
Food Watch a Documentary about Food Sovereignty
How does food sovereignty address the complex agrarian transition to modern food systems?

    Prakash Murthy's avatar
    Prakash Murthy 10/21/2019 4:01 AM
In fact, apart from going thru this documentation, I could teach the value of Food to my son. He reduced the wastage of food for the past few days. I am personally Happy about that.
