Item for thought: which is "worse": a small plastic bottle or a plastic drinking cup? In catering and public events, small water bottles are everywhere. The idea of pitchers of water and washable cups may not be possible due to health code requirements of dishwashing at a high temperature. Plastic bottles (but not caps) are recyclable. What about the clear "crystal" cups we see at catered events??

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable Water BottleWhile water bottles are needed for health and safety in certain places, we can do more to reduce the unnecessary use of them. What are the barriers to you using reusable bottles and tap water instead of bottled water? How could you make this a permanent habit?
Michelle Mueller 10/02/2019 5:30 PMI carry a plastic water bottle with me, including while traveling. Most airports now have filtered water stations! PCC has them, and at home my tap water is great. The proliferation of small plastic water bottles has to end, except when it can't be avoided.
