Say No to Plastic Straws
An estimated 71% of seabirds and 30% of turtles have been found with plastics in their stomachs. When they ingest plastic, marine life has a 50% mortality rate. By asking for no straw when placing a drink order, I will keep 1 plastic straw(s) of out of the ocean each day.

REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Heat and Cool NaturallyWhat are other ways you could use the power of the sun to reduce your own environmental footprint?
Yesenia Morales 10/22/2019 9:47 PMOne way I could use the power of the sun to reuse my energy consumption is not using a heater when it’s cold and the sun is out. -
Yesenia Morales 10/15/2019 11:14 PMOne of the options I wanted to change in my lifestyle is saying no to straws. I carry my reusable straws in my backpacks and in my car. Also I have been carrying my cup whenever I go to get coffee to reuse my waste.
