REFLECTION QUESTIONWater 5-Minute ShowersFive minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?
Sandra Mederl 10/22/2019 2:53 AMThe next step you can take is reducing showering with hot water, lukewarm water is better for your skin and hair anyway. Another next step could be to focus on reducing my energy consumption (e.g. switching off the light if not needed, turning of my laptop during the night, etc.) -
REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Sandra Mederl 10/21/2019 11:36 PMLooking for a team activity, combining an outdoor activity together with meeting friends (e.g. hiking with friends) or change up your gym routine with doing sports outside once a week. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Sandra Mederl 10/21/2019 11:34 PMYes that sounds right to me. - I think a culture who spends most of the time indoors, is less happy, balanced and satisfied. Nature not only calms people's mind but also gives the brain fresh air and connects the human to the environment which comes along with a positive mood.
