    I buy only what I truly need, and with certain things like clothing I get rid of one item for every new item I bring in. It helps that my home is very small and I dislike clutter.

    I live in a place with abundant outdoor recreation oppportunities. I need to take regular advantage of them. It's just more fun to hike through the woods or walk on the beach than walk the track at the community center.

    I tend to stay up too late and still have to get up early for work. I need to make myself go to bed earlier.

    While not all health issues are preventable with diet, some are directly caused by our food choices. Eating healthy improves our odds.
