Compost Food Waste
I will avoid sending up to .69 lbs (.31 kg) of food waste to the landfill each day by composting my food or learning how to.

Access to affordable, nutritious food is a food justice issue. I will advocate for local and/or organic food options at work, on campus and/or in the spaces I frequent.

Transportation
Drive Less
I will cut my car trip mileage by only taking necessary trips.

Ben Piping Plover Lewis 10/12/2019 9:12 AMWith the weather getting colder and wetter, it's a little tougher to mentally step outside to go wait for the bus - especially not hat my car is up and running again. Going to be a tough week, but totally worth it! Just gotta break out the winter boots, coat and hat. -
Ben Piping Plover Lewis 10/02/2019 1:21 PMToday I really wanted to take a scooter, or take a Lyft, or take the train to a project site, but instead I just walked even though it was pouring rain out. Getting wet to save the planet! Hey that rhymed :)
