Nature
Enjoy the Sunrise/Sunset
I will enjoy the sunrise and/or sunset each day.
Health
Exercise Daily

Nature
Spend Time Outside
I will replace 60 minute(s) each day typically spent inside (computer time, watching television, etc.) with quality time outside.

Talk To My Friends and Colleagues
I will research the social or environmental issues in my community that matter to me and tell 3 friends and/or colleagues each day about what I learn.

REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Enjoy the Sunrise/SunsetFather Thomas Berry says, "...our primary purpose is celebration. Celebration of the dawn and the sunset and the different seasons of the year is a religious ritual, a way in which humans can establish their integral relationship with the universe, with the planet Earth." Respond to Berry's assertion.
Timothy Le 10/12/2019 10:59 AMI honestly have nothing to say about this quote as I'm not really religious and have beliefs in this certain idea. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONNature Spend Time OutsideRachel Carson said that we need the beauty and mysteries of the natural world for our spiritual and emotional development. Does that ring true for you? What are the implications for a culture that spends most of its time indoors?
Timothy Le 10/10/2019 6:16 PMEnjoying the real world rather than being cooped up in a building is definitely a different feeling and experience. I think that after all the time of growing up inside, this generation doesn't really know how to enjoy the real world. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONEnergy Switch to Cold WaterWhat do you plan to do with the money you save from making more energy efficient choices?

REFLECTION QUESTIONHealth Exercise DailyHow can you incorporate other personal values (like quality time with friends or spending time in nature) into your exercise routine?
Timothy Le 10/10/2019 6:10 PMI plan on using the day as the time for any social activities, but exercising at will be strictly at night time just to keep a balance.
