Nature Go for a Daily Walk
How do you experience your neighborhood or city differently when walking instead of driving?

I definitely notice a lot more walking around my neighborhood. It's also possible to do a walking meditation and my mood is usually much improved afterwards

Simplicity and convenience are tradeoffs, with time usually being the largest gain or loss. Finding a balance of living simply while still maintaining a normal quality of life is is where creativity can be required.

The lack of action to change the way we do things in our daily lives is concerning, given that most are educated enough and worried about the future of the planet. On a larger scale, corporations that are practically monopolies and go unchecked (e.g., Unilever, J&J) and do not have the greater good in mind (both from an environmental and public health standpoint).

    Water 5-Minute Showers
Five minute showers are an impressive step toward reducing your water footprint. What is the next step you can take?

I have actually started using a timer for showers instead of approximating it by feel. Purchasing only clothing items that I need and thrift shopping is a good indirect way to reduce my water footprint.
