Water
Install a Low-Flow Showerhead
I will save up to 15 gallons (56 L) of water a day by installing a low-flow showerhead.

Waste
Go Paperless
I will reduce the amount of paper mail that I receive by 3.4lbs (1.5kg) a month or 41lbs (18.6kg) a year by opting into paperless billing, ending unwanted subscriptions and opting out of junk mail.
Waste
Use a Reusable Water Bottle
I will keep 2 disposable plastic bottle(s) from entering the waste stream by using a reusable water bottle.

Try Carpooling
I will commute by carpool 30 mile(s) each day and avoid sending up to 18.15 lbs of CO2 into Earth's atmosphere.

Transportation
Work from Home
I will work from home 1 day(s) to avoid my commute's carbon output.
Water
Fix Leaky Faucets
I will fix faucets or report leaky faucets to facilities that have been wasting up to 9 gallons (34 L) of water per faucet every day.
Transportation
Stay on the Ground
Instead of traveling by plane, I will find an alternative way to accomplish the goals of an upcoming trip (i.e. telepresence, vacation locally).
Transportation
Choose a Carbon Offset
If buying a plane ticket, I will also buy a carbon offset.
Waste
Use a Reusable Mug
I will avoid sending 5 disposable cup(s) to the landfill each day by using a reusable mug.

REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Install a Toilet Tank BankName some of the human activities impacting the health of water systems, both locally (your watershed) and globally (freshwater and oceans). What can you do to improve the health of water systems?
Narasimhan J 10/08/2019 9:02 PMToo many borewells in and around our apartment and such a waste from everyone. The ground water level is going down year over year and the concrete jungle is not allowing the rain water to seep into th ground-
Sathish R 10/10/2019 9:57 PM- Good idea.. Can we collectively get together and work with the nearby Welfare associations to not to Dig borewells and also make BWSSB accountable to minimum litres of drinking water on a weekly basis.
We should also ensure that we residents should use the Rain water harvesting and make the best use of water

REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Fix Leaky FaucetsFixing leaky faucets is one of the tasks that we can easily put off until later. Good job on completing this action! How will you use the momentum from completing this action to increase your water efficiency in other ways?
Narasimhan J 10/08/2019 9:01 PMI'll be advocating to the apartment association to drive this for all the apartment in my society -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWater Install a Low-Flow ShowerheadHow can your region/household prepare for changing water situations in order to become more resilient?

REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Go PaperlessReducing your paper mail can be such a freeing action to take -- by reducing what is coming in, you can reduce what is going into the recycling bin too. How does it make you feel? What is the next step you will take to reduce your waste?
-
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Launch a Recycling ProgramHow might thinking creatively help us address big systems problems differently?
Narasimhan J 10/04/2019 9:19 PMWe need to create dynamic spaces, where people are able to embrace change, explore the unknown and experiment with radically new ways of thinking. -
REFLECTION QUESTIONWaste Use a Reusable MugMaybe you've heard how good it is to switch from a single use coffee cup to a reusable one, but it's just hard to make the switch.
